Mr. Ahmed Naseer was appointed as the Chairman of the CMDA board in October 2016. Prior to his appointment as the Chairman, he held the position of the CEO of CMDA.
Mr. Naseer served as a State Minister for the Ministry of Finance & Treasury in 2011. He also served in various senior positions at the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) from 2008 to 2011. Mr. Naseer is currently the managing director of K. Atoll Investment Private Limited and is actively involved in the private sector as well.

Ms. Nadiya Hassan was appointed as a board member of CMDA in November 2016 pursuant to her appointment as CEO of CMDA.
Ms. Nadiya has substantial work experience from various senior positions held during her 30-year tenure at the Bank of Maldives. She represented as the director nominated by the government on the board of Bank of Maldives (BML) and concurrently as director (chairperson) representing Bank of Maldives on the board of Maldives Finance Leasing Company (MFLC) from 2003 to 2005. She has also worked as the Chief Finance Officer for a private sector company.

Ms. Mariyam Visam was appointed as a board member of CMDA in January 2014 pursuant to her appointment as the Registrar of Companies. Prior to her appointment as the Registrar of Companies, she held the position of the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of CMDA. During her tenure at CMDA, she was the Director General for Pension Supervision and the CMDA representative on the board of Maldives Pension Administration Office.

Ms. Idham Hussain was appointed as the member representing the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) on the CMDA board in October 2016. Ms. Idham is currently the assistant governor for Monetary Policy, Research and Statistics at the MMA.Ms. Idham joined the MMA in 1990 and since then she has undertaken various senior positions at MMA.

Mr. Ahmed Mujuthaba was appointed as the member representing Ministry of Finance & Treasury on the CMDA board in June 2012. Mr. Mujuthaba is a Director General at the Ministry of Finance & Treasury since 2008.

Mr. Abdul Majeed Ali was appointed as a member representing the private sector on the CMDA board in October 2016. Mr. Majeed is currently the Managing Partner at Optimo LLP engaging in providing consultation services to small & medium sized enterprises.
Mr. Majeed is also the Country Coordinator for Islamic Finance Assurance & Advisory Services (IFAAS) of Birmingham, UK. Mr. Majeed was also actively involved in the Banking Sector from 2007 to 2012 and coordinated various microfinancing projects during his tenure in the banking sector.

Mr. Rifaath Jaleel was appointed as a member representing the private sector on the CMDA board in January 2015. Mr. Rifaath is currently the Managing Partner of MHPA LLP, a 100 percent Maldivian owned audit firm and Chairman and Director of AFT consulting providing general business consultancy to local and foreign investment companies.
Mr. Rifaath has 20 years of experience in the public and private sector. He was a licensed stock broker and later was involved in providing his services in the areas of audit, tax and accounting.
