Listed companies are required to file the following information / documents with the CMDA .
- Prospectus for new issue of securities
- Audited financial statements and Annual Reports
- Quarterly Reports
- Reports and information to shareholders
- Information related to mergers and acquisitions and different business combinations
Through the review process conducted by the Market Regulation, Supervision and Enforcement Section, information/documents will be checked to see if listed companies are meeting their disclosure requirements.
To meet the listed company requirements for disclosure, a company issuing new securities or whose securities are publicly traded must disclose information about the companies' financial condition and business practices to help investors make informed investment decisions.
